Starting to use Camtasia - Making clips on screen

I started to use Camtasia today, it was a lot more simple than I thought it would be, so far I have created four clips of me doing what I have done this week. One of lightroom, one of my powerpoint I created about techniques of lighting, another of how I chopped video clips with Steven and the last one showing how I actually created this blog.

This video is very short but shows to you that I have created these four clips are they are in my project on Camtasia ready to be used to make my screen cast tomorrow with Gavin.

Camtasia Demo Video

This video was made for me by Gavin, to help me use Camtasia the program he downloaded to help me make a screen-cast tomorrow and Friday, I am making one to show people what I have done in the past week and what I have brought away from it. This type of video shows you using the screen so you can show things that you can now do and also shows you on webcam  and you can use the inbuilt microphone to put a voice over on it, explaining what you are doing.

Monday and Tuesday - photography with Nigel

On the Monday of my work experience I did some photography with Nigel, I really enjoyed this task and I got some great photos out of it.

This photo of a peacock was taken outside Corsham
Court, this photo wasn't zoomed in I actually got that
close to the bird. I took this because Nigel set me the
task of taking photos which shows things that are
well known in Corsham. The peacock is one of
the most well known birds in the town and they
are very famous for it. You will always find these
beautiful birds up by Corsham Court.

This is another photo of the same peacock but the only difference with this one is that I got even closer to the bird and it didn't even move a touch. I really like this photo so I have displayed it for everyone to see on this blog and also on my flickr page. In Lightroom on Tuesday I changed the colours and lighting of the photo, I did this with all of the photographs I took.

FIRST BLOG POST !!

Creating this blog was quite easy, the first thing I had to do was set up an account with all my details. I then decided to change the actual design of the blog, this was very simple and took me minutes. I chose to use the watermark design with the stripes on as I liked the colours, for my text I chose to go for a slightly jazzy but still simple text, which was named 'Coming Soon'. I didn't change much more because I liked it how it was and wanted it to be quite simple !!
